Joe was fantastic! Although the repair ended up costing me about three times what I was hoping, Joe’s explanation of why and how parts should be replaced made complete sense to me. Yes it helped that I have a handle on how things work (I did handyman work and ran my own landscaping company for decades), but Joe knows his stuff! His work was clean and timely. Quite the professional and a very friendly man!

After 25 years of service, our garage door spring failed - on a Saturday around 1 in the afternoon. My wife chose Precision because as a Real Estate Broker she had experience with getting garage doors repaired and replaced for her buyers and sellers. Joe showed up around 3 and the door was operating again by 5 - plus we ordered a new door from him to be installed later this month. He gave us outstanding service and was a pleasure to work with.

I was not impressed with the service that I received from Precision and wish that I had gone with another company for my garage door service needs. I had a technician, Nick I believe, come out with another man to replace the spring and the cables on my door. I was quoted one price over the phone and told another, higher price in person. The technician also tried to upsell me a bunch of other things that I did not need. I felt that I was being taken advantage of because I am a young woman, and in the end, the price still did not match up with what I was told over the phone. I felt that this was a shady business practice and did not make me feel confident in this company. Although the work was completed in a satisfactory manner, I would not use this company again.

The service advisor called to ask what the problem and offered to help so as not to charge me for coming out if he can tell me how to fix. I told him that the transmitter is not working, gave him the Model number. I also told him that the garage door is otherwise working but not the remotes. He came and outright said the opener is 100 years old very mockingly( It is 30 yrs old) and that u cannot find that transmitter. He left.I went on google and put the transmitter model number and it is available every where- Amazon, Walmart, and many other garage door places for less than $30. He said you will have to replace ur garage door and I will give you a special for $450. What a deal.NEVER AGAIN TO CALL THESE PEOPLE. THE TECNHICIN HAD NO CLUE HOW TO FIX EXCEPT SELLING A NEW OPENER.

I am a Contractor, and very particular about work performed for me. I called Precision door because no one else was available on Saturday. The Technician Named Jerry came promptly and was more knowledgeable, and efficient than any Garage door Mechanic I have encountered. I was very pleased with the work, and the price. For customer service, promptness, knowledge and politeness of Ben, the outstanding Tech, I give 5 stars. BUT for having no warranty on the preformed work/parts UNLESS you purchase a "limited lifetime warranty" for almost the same cost as the repair is a ZERO and bordering on a scam. Would I use them again? Most likely yes, but I would also shop around first.
