I just had a new garage door opener replaced this morning. Matt was actually a few minutes early, knew exactly what the problem was, gave me an estimate. He had the motor on his truck. was 90 minutes total from the time he showed up till he was completed. Very well satisfied glad I chose Precision to take care of my repair, will definitely call them if I ever have another problem, and will recommend Matt and the rest of the team. Came home from the Post Office and my garage door isn't working! Called Precision Garage Doors and within 40 minutes Tony was at my door. Another hour and my problem was solved. And he replaced the spring, checked out the door to make sure all was in tip top shape. I've had things repaired before, but I have never had such stellar service from anyone! Call them. I choose Precision because I have heard of that company in conversation before. Tyson did the repair swiftly & as far as I can tell did a great job. I would have given a 5 star but $1,100.00 was a bit steep for a 20 minute repair.

Great experience with Precision Door today from my first contact over the phone to cleanup after the service was complete. Anthony arrived about an hour after my call and was thorough and knowledgeable. Precision is to be commended for its same-day response most especially to emergencies (e.g., garage door would not open; vehicle trapped inside). In fact, Tyson called to tell me he was on his way two hours before the job was scheduled. He quickly located the problem and provided a rapid-fire estimate of $995, which I thought was extremely high for the parts that were required and, of course, the labor that would be involved. However, it was an emergency, so I didn't question the estimate. That was my first mistake. In hindsight, I should have asked for a itemized written estimate. Upon finishing the job, the $995 suddenly and without explanation ballooned to $1145 with not a single part costing less than $100. My second mistake was not asking for an explanation of the $150 difference between the estimate and the final bill. I offer this advice to anyone considering calling Precision to repair your garage door. First request a copy of the estimate and then ask specific questions regarding the price of some parts and even ask to see bearing plates that are priced at $100 each.

Service was efficient and good. Cost for springs, cables, and other needed parts seemed pretty expensive especially for the small amount of time spent for the repair (less than an hour). It appears that there is a significant mark up on the actual cost of the parts.

Precision came out to quote my garage for a door removal and install. They quoted $1100 more than any other company I have spoken to. They tried to charge me for things hanging on my wall that could easily be removed as "obstructions" and the sales tactics were greasy. I would never ask them for a quote again.

Very pleased with the service I received and I would definitely use Precision again. My garage door wouldn't open this morning (something was wrong with the power supply to the motor) and when I called Precision they sent a tech within an hour. Tony was wonderful, friendly, great attitude and very knowledgeable. I ended up replacing the motor on my door (it was my choice because it was a bit old and also missing the photo sensors, remote controls back up battery etc. and I didn't want to deal with any more technical issues in the future) but I never felt like the tech tried to push any sale on me. I was even thinking that I need a new door but he told me the door itself was fine and I don't need to worry about it. He replaced the motor within an hour, very thoroughly explained everything to me and what to do in case the door ever gets stuck again and answered all my questions. As a single woman and new to home ownership (I have lived in an apartment my whole life) I have been very overwhelmed and intimidated with all the house maintenance work and I greatly appreciate the education I get when the techs explain everything with great patience. I also appreciate that they are open beyond the standard 9-5 business hours.

Breaking our garage door happened so unexpectedly. It was dramatic and scary. Our massive double garage doors had come off its tracks and was barely hanging on by wires. Precision was able to come within the hour. The technician Hayden was so capable, nice-mannered, hard-working and positive. He showed great skill and talent in fixing our garage door. He was actually able to make our garage door better than before we’d broken it. Thank you very much.
