I wouldn't hesitate to call Precision Door Service again. They've has been in Chattanooga for many, many years and I'd had their service many years ago. My garage door is 250+ pounds of solid wood. The motor died on a Friday afternoon; I called the number on my door but got an answering service saying they'd get back to me Monday. I called Precision DS and got a friendly voice and set an appointment for repair the next morning. JP was JAM-UP all the way - on time, fully equipped, very professional, friendly and really knew his stuff since he had replaced several doors in our community. My door hardware was 21-years-old so I replaced everything but the rails and the wood. There wasn't anything cheap about this Genie setup and it's the quietest door opener I've ever had. The Aladdin App is helpful. Thanks JP and PDS y'all are the best.

I wrote a 5-star review on Google regarding today’s experience with Precision Garage Doors and the technician, Preston Stockton. Every step in the scheduling, notification of service, advance arrival of the technician and the work performed on both of my garage doors were outstanding. Preston arrived on time and after a technical assessment of my garage door hardware condition made valuable, honest and no pressure recommendations. He also found a very worn cable on one of the doors the was a safety issue and could have contributed to significant damage and/or personal injury. Accordingly, I had the cables, springs, bearings and rollers replaced in both doors. I was very impressed with Preston’s technical and professional competence and his friendly, customer-oriented attitude. The repairs to my doors came with a five year parts and labor warranty. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service; outstanding, efficient service and a fair price.

The office didn’t mention a fee to come to my house to address a situation that I thought was the result of a $1800 repair seven months ago. When tech finished he asked for the service fee plus a half hour hourly rate. He said that there was no warranty. I had not heard that from the dispatcher either. I could have done the work for less that a dollar worth of hardware. Instead over $100 bill. NE CAREFUL TO ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS
