Our garage door spring broke on Thanksgiving night. I called around 10:45 A.M. on Friday and was informed that someone would arrive between 3:00-5:00. I received a call from Joe, a technician, and was told he would be here at 4:00 and he was. Joe was very friendly and knowledgable. He completed the job and took care of our broken spring problem.

HELLO THERE! I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MR. JOE'S KINDNESS AND FRIENDLY ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME AND MY HUSBAND. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL . NEW MOTOR INSTALLED AND REMOTE KEYPAD. INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN ON HOW TO USE NEW REMOTE KEYPAD INSTALLED AND SOMETHING ELSE, I FORGET THE NAME OF IT. I WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT THE PAPERWORK FOR THAT. HOWEVER, HE DID A GET JOB. I give Precision Door a 5 Star Rating. Joe arrived on time on Saturday morning. He was cheerful and after examining the door mechanism explained the problems - broken spring, frayed cable, worn pulleys, worn roller bearings and poorly supported pully brackets. The door was heavy (single door / 2 car garage) and when he was not pleased with the balance using the same size original springs he had installed, he installed two heavier springs. He also adjusted the safety light showing me how to adjust it in the future if the door again would not close when activated by the remote. When Joe left, the door worked perfect and I felt as if I had made a new friend. I could not be more satisfied with the service. ~ Arthur Turner - Chattanooga, TN

After the initial inspection it was determined that the doors themselves were in good condition, but other parts needed to be replaced. After a quick review of the estimated cost a decision was made to go ahead and do the repair work. The job was able to be handled on the spot and was completed within 2 hours. The technician knew exactly what he was doing and went above and beyond what was requested to get the job done.

The reason I chose Precision is your advert of 24/7 hours service, which turned out not to be true. I called late afternoon (it was still light out), but was told no one could come until the following day. I could not get my door to stay closed and had to ask an elderly neighbor to close it manually for me. The mechanic, Joe, was extremely nice and competent. It would have been a 5-star recommendation if not for your failure of service as advertised.

Jerry came very promptly on Monday a.m. & was a very professional in his approach to my needed repair work. Old house, old springs, old rollers & cables---the whole works needed replacement. Excellent service. Joe was outstanding. He explained clearly what needed to be done, and showed me how it would keep my problems from continuing with the door and opener. He was absolutely correct. So glad he was the person who came to my home. The complete overhaul was needed. He understood my home warranty, what they covered and what I would pay for. He was correct even on that. The new track, rollers, seal, springs and other parts made a huge difference. My door is very quiet and smooth as silk. Wow! What a difference!
