Service person said 1-3 to fix my door problem Service person shows up at noon. I was not at home. Called wife to hurry home.. Not happy about that and one more. $69 for a service call. Understand and then add an additional $25 for some other charge not related to me and the so called service charge. Not happy about this either.

Was very disappointed that the first technician worked for four hours and was unable to fix the door properly. Later that evening, three more technicians, in three separate vehicles, showed up and worked together to fix the issue.

Personal we’re very friendly and made appt the same day! That was greatly appreciated. However the pricing was too high. And most would not be able to cover that. I would greatly suggest when you have home owners out of town to make the prices clear for everyone’s understanding. Thanks

I gave you a five star rating I called several other places and nobody would come out and look at my garage door in a timely manner they said they were through for the day and my garage door wouldn’t go down and I was having all kinds of issues with it and you came right out and took care of the problem . I called for repair on garage opener. Used Precision because I bought openers from them several years ago and remembered how fast they put them in and how nice they were. I rate them #5 for great friendly service.

For customer service, promptness, knowledge and politeness of Ben, the outstanding Tech, I give 5 stars. BUT for having no warranty on the preformed work/parts UNLESS you purchase a "limited lifetime warranty" for almost the same cost as the repair is a ZERO and bordering on a scam. Would I use them again? Most likely yes, but I would also shop around first.

Joe came to see me the sameday I called for help. He was trying to stop a leak from rain while the door was closed. He didn't have a repair part so he tried to glue a rubber strip to the floor. It looked good and seemed it would do the trick. Unfortunately it didn't. Joe came back days later when I called again and brought JB with him. They found why the door was leaking and couldn't resolve a way to fix it. I have since figured it out (I think), If they could come back maybe there is something we can do. Both Joe and JB were courteous and pleasant to work with. I would like to try one more time with one or the other. If you agree, please call me at home (423-499-4244) to arrange a time to meet. Precision is to be commended for its same-day response most especially to emergencies (e.g., garage door would not open; vehicle trapped inside). In fact, Tyson called to tell me he was on his way two hours before the job was scheduled. He quickly located the problem and provided a rapid-fire estimate of $995, which I thought was extremely high for the parts that were required and, of course, the labor that would be involved. However, it was an emergency, so I didn't question the estimate. That was my first mistake. In hindsight, I should have asked for a itemized written estimate. Upon finishing the job, the $995 suddenly and without explanation ballooned to $1145 with not a single part costing less than $100. My second mistake was not asking for an explanation of the $150 difference between the estimate and the final bill. I offer this advice to anyone considering calling Precision to repair your garage door. First request a copy of the estimate and then ask specific questions regarding the price of some parts and even ask to see bearing plates that are priced at $100 each.
