The door was rubbing against the track on the left side making the cable so loose it would come loose on the right side. The problem was hard to diagnose for the technician, but he did not give up till the problem was solved by making adjustments on both the right and left tracks to better center the door.

Joe quoted $465.00 for replacement of a torque master bar from Wayne Dalton. I responded that was way out of what we had expected and we would wait. He said his call bill would be $65.00 and I told him that was high for 20 min. He said he had to drive over (we live 8 min. from bus). He was courteous an I paid him. McSpadden replaced the bar a few hours later for $229 total labor and parts. Your prices are out of line

Technician came to the house at the appointed time and gacve me a quote with several options in a matter of minutes. I decided to let him do the job even though the cost was a little higher than I expected but he also upgraded the door which I had not anticipated.
