Below is the honest review I have typed up for yelp, Angie's List, google review, etc. Professional but be prepared for sticker shock!! "My first impression of the company is that they are very professional. They showed up at the appointed time, the technician even phoned prior to showing up. They emailed a picture of the technician prior to arrival. They lived up to their same day service. However, be prepared to spend a LOT of money. The technician was not allowed to fix my door (company policy regarding releasing the tension on the springs) but had to either replace several very expensive parts or I had to buy a new door, which would not be installed for about a week. My other option was to have a broken garage door and have paid $65 for a useless quote. So, $598 and less than 2 hours later my 12 year old door was operating the way it did earlier that same day. Granted I had new rollers, springs, etc. But $598??? The technician was courteous and efficient as he quickly replaced all the parts. Could my door just have been repaired without spending the money on the parts? YES. I think the company has a professional appearance but you might not have many choices other than throwing expensive parts at the situation. If you need repair call someone that repairs, if you want same day service and to rebuild your door with expensive parts, call them." Regards, Spencer Morgan

My repair request was on the weekend because our car was trapped in the garage on Mother's Day by a malfunctioning spring system. Sears could only schedule me 4 days later, another company never called back. Precision answered on a weekend, the technician arrived, explained the problem, released the spring and offered to do additional work to solve the problem (which I declined on a weekend). Five stars!

The man that fixed our garage was named Joe. He was very nice, prompt professional and kept us informed about when he would arrive, what was required and what he was doing to address it. He was very conscientious, cared about our property, etc. He just quietly did his job and seemed to enjoy being able to fix our busted springs and other things. Professional employee. My son came and said they still make metal door rollers for the garage door. He said I should of kept the door rollers. Was told my bill will be in the mail. Need for records for this home. Work done fast. I wish my son was here when the work was done. Then he could of told me if it was needed. I hope the parts do last a long time. I am on social security. Very low income. $540.00 a month. I am learning to have a person with me for help.

Jerry showed up during the time I was given. Very pleasant experience. He advised me on the status of my garage door, fixed the issue and was done in 30 minutes. He also took time to explain how the door works, the age of my door and things I can do to extend the life of the door and motor. My door is over 10 years old. When it fails, I will definitely call Precision for a replacement! Great friendly service!

Joe came to see me the sameday I called for help. He was trying to stop a leak from rain while the door was closed. He didn't have a repair part so he tried to glue a rubber strip to the floor. It looked good and seemed it would do the trick. Unfortunately it didn't. Joe came back days later when I called again and brought JB with him. They found why the door was leaking and couldn't resolve a way to fix it. I have since figured it out (I think), If they could come back maybe there is something we can do. Both Joe and JB were courteous and pleasant to work with. I would like to try one more time with one or the other. If you agree, please call me at home (423-499-4244) to arrange a time to meet. The door was rubbing against the track on the left side making the cable so loose it would come loose on the right side. The problem was hard to diagnose for the technician, but he did not give up till the problem was solved by making adjustments on both the right and left tracks to better center the door.
