Stephen explained what he was doing to repair the garage door spring and rollers, and he answered my questions concerning the options for repair and warranty. When our garage door would not close on Friday night, we feared the worst, that is, no service until Tuesday following Labor Day. Searching the web, I was attracted by the 24/7 phone service & open until 9;00 pm. I called & was happy to have a service date set for Saturday morning. The repairman arrived on time, diagnosed the problem & installed a new door opener in 2 hours. We are very happy with the service and our smooth-operating garage door. The service advisor called to ask what the problem and offered to help so as not to charge me for coming out if he can tell me how to fix. I told him that the transmitter is not working, gave him the Model number. I also told him that the garage door is otherwise working but not the remotes. He came and outright said the opener is 100 years old very mockingly( It is 30 yrs old) and that u cannot find that transmitter. He left.I went on google and put the transmitter model number and it is available every where- Amazon, Walmart, and many other garage door places for less than $30. He said you will have to replace ur garage door and I will give you a special for $450. What a deal.NEVER AGAIN TO CALL THESE PEOPLE. THE TECNHICIN HAD NO CLUE HOW TO FIX EXCEPT SELLING A NEW OPENER.
