Our garage door opener was undersized for the width and weight of the door (blame for this goes to the builder for trying to save a few bucks), thus causing it to creak and grind loudly. Additionally, the springs were undersized, which created a safety hazard, as the door could have slammed shut if the springs had broken. Precision Doors came out and replaced the springs and opener, and serviced the existing parts of the door that could be saved. Their personnel were very professional and efficient, and we feel so much safer having a properly sized opener system in our garage. If you are in need of a garage door installation or repair, I highly recommend that you call Precision Door.

My garage door is over 20 years old. The spring broke. I called Precision door service and of course they couldn't give me a price over the phone. When the service man arrived he told me what it would cost and I couldn't believe it then or today. They replaced the spring and the rollers with the cables. It took no more than 15 minutes. For a spring, labor and two small rollers they charged me over $600.00. I don't know how this company can steel money from seniors like this. This price is unjustifiable. Will never contact this company ever again. I worked on and built buildings all over Chattanooga Tn from Sequa in the 70's to Findley Stadium so I know something about skill and cost. I was a brick mason and I earned my money but today it seems that people think they deserve the money for little service.
