Both of our garage door openers stopped working. Matt called me to let me know that he was on his way which I appreciated. He was on time. Matt was able to troubleshoot the problem and determine the issue and have me up and running in about a half an hour. Great job Matt!!

Our door stopped working late Sunday night. I was able to book and appointment online for the next day. I then needed to change the time of the appointment and I got a live person at nearly 10 pm on a Sunday. I then got confirmation of appointment right away. They also sent pictures of their tech ahead of time, so you know what the person would look like that came to our home.. We have used them several times over years and they are exceptional! Al Henry

Precision is to be commended for its same-day response most especially to emergencies (e.g., garage door would not open; vehicle trapped inside). In fact, Tyson called to tell me he was on his way two hours before the job was scheduled. He quickly located the problem and provided a rapid-fire estimate of $995, which I thought was extremely high for the parts that were required and, of course, the labor that would be involved. However, it was an emergency, so I didn't question the estimate. That was my first mistake. In hindsight, I should have asked for a itemized written estimate. Upon finishing the job, the $995 suddenly and without explanation ballooned to $1145 with not a single part costing less than $100. My second mistake was not asking for an explanation of the $150 difference between the estimate and the final bill. I offer this advice to anyone considering calling Precision to repair your garage door. First request a copy of the estimate and then ask specific questions regarding the price of some parts and even ask to see bearing plates that are priced at $100 each.

We were not satisfied with the technician. Upon arrival he immediately started trying to sell products and services instead of just doing the repairs requested. He also changed our door from a 2 torsion spring system to a single spring system. Quality of the work other than that was good. We will be monitoring this door closely.
