My 12-year old garage door would shut but then immediately pop back up at times. Patrick came at the scheduled time. He was outgoing and very professional. He diagnosed our problem and then gave us options for repairing it. I selected the installation of new steel rollers to replace the worn plastic ones. Patrick repaired the door in less than an hour. He made some adjustments to the door to be sure there was no opening between the floor and bottom of door. He answered my questions and also gave me a walk-through on how to do periodic maintenance. The work came with a 5-year warranty. I would use Precision Door again and was very impressed with Patrick.

I called Precision about 3pm on Friday afternoon because our garage door would not raise or lower. They told us that a service technician would be at our home by 6pm. Dylan arrived and within an hour the door was working properly. The price was very reasonable and we are very happy customers. I made a service call this morning when I found out that one of the torsion springs on my garage door had broken. That was at 9:00 and they sent out Trent to fix the problem. They gave me a two hour window between 10:00 and 12:00. Trent arrived at 10:30 and went straight to work on the problem and in an hour an a half he had replaced both torsion springs and the torsion cables. I was very happy with the service and will recommend them to my friends.

I selected Precision Door because we have had excellent experience in the past both at our home in Indianapolis and here in Lookout Highlands. However, The experience yesterday was not as satisfacory as in the past. It took 3.5 hrs to replace the motor and the job is still not completed. Seems there is a programming issue with the remote. It apparently will take 1-2 wks for the new panel to arrive. The other two garage doors were not serviced and the box on the outside could not be reprogrammed for entry of people needing access without a garage door opener in car. The young man was very polite but it was still a frustrating experience. All that said, we greatly appreciated the rapid response to get a service technician out to repair the door.

He took the time to show me how he could tell that the door had been serviced in the past and suggested that when time comes to replace my old chain driven door with a larger power and smoother operating belt drive unit. I’m sure I will take his advice about that soon and wouldn’t dream of using anyone else.

Garage door spring broke on Memorial Day. Called them that afternoon and they were out the next morning with all the supplies to get us back up and running. Highly recommend! Very courteous, and prompt and thorough in showing me what needed to be fixed on our 14 year old door, and how to maintain going forward. 5 year warranty was also nice!

PDS came out the same day I called with my problem about the garage door not opening properly and it had a broken spring. They explained the issues in a way I understood, gave the quote, and worked quickly to resolve the problem. It is overhauled and my door opens better now than it has in a very long time.
