I went to the first ad in the yellow pages after calling a former company who couldn't get to me for another week. I was able to get same day service with Precision. The tech that came was purposeful in checking out the whole door. The spring had broken, which is what I called in for, but the tech did a complete inspection of all moving components of the door. The door is 20+ years old. He was able to show the worn parts and the need for an overhaul. I was given options of a bandaid fix or a thorough repair that would give me a much better result, plus a lifetime guarantee. All of this can be expensive but I knew I had already had multiple repairs over the last 10 years that were apparently bandaids, and were expensive in and of themselves. I appreciated the techs desire to do a great job and not simply put that bandaid on it as the other company had done. I didn't feel the tech was necessarily trying to "sell" anything, even though he did get the sell. He showed me the reasons and need for hardware replacement.

The remains of Hurricane Irma hit us with half a dozen trees brought down in our neighborhood. My garage door was closed but when I went out and tried to close it , it immediately went up. This had happened just two months ago. I called and in about 2 hours Jerry was here and explained that it was simply a reset problem, showed me how to do it (which he says is in the owner's manual) and didn't charge me for the call, which I very much appreciate. My only negative is that I should have been told this the last time and I should have looked at the owner's manual if I still have it. But thanks for excellent service

My garage door would not lower, service person came right away and got the door closed and told me that I needed a new motor, but he did not push changing the motor that day. I will definitely call them back when it needs changing out. The door that I own, they do not make it anymore so there are no parts for it.

Garage door spring broke at 9 pm last night, called them and the technician (Jerry B.) was here the next afternoon on schedule. Took him about 45 minutes to replace the door springs, bearings, and all the rollers. We are extremely pleased with the fast service and repair.
