Great job on the install. Quite expensive though. Installer said he would install our existing "eyes" beside the other door but didn't have the brackets (the previous owner had just put them on top of the opener so it would work). I wish he could get the brackets and come back and do it for us. Then all would be complete. For $449.00 for one garage door opener, I would think that's enough money to cover that little job as well. He was going to try to but suddenly remembered he didn't have any extra brackets. We would love to see someone come back and do that for us.

After you installed a new Opener my in-car remote would not work. Although you were not obligated to do so your Service Tech Ben came back and at no charge to me installed an extra receiver that enables my remote to work. Thank you very much. Also the door which was crashing its way up and down is now unbelievably smooth. You deserve six stars!!

Got several calls right away, although no one seemed to relay the information that I would not be home until later afternoon. Two different people called two different times to set up earlier appointments. I found that quite disruptive.

My garage door abruptly refused to close.I chose Precision because the company I've used previously couldn't come for a week so I looked in the Yellow Pages and then on your web-site and was told you could come that day. Your Service man Ben came that evening and was remarkably cheerful considering he'd been working since 7.30am and didn't finish till about 9.30pm.Ben was great--pleasant , helpful and proficient. My only minor complaint is that he left the wires looking a bit sloppy, You lost a star because your opener is foreign -made ( China??) and I cannot use my car's remote.

I had a broken spring on my garage door and called Precision to replace the spring since my daughter had used them before and she was pleased with the service. The service Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He told me he would replace the spring but also pointed out some other things that may need service. Since my garage door is 15 years old I told him to do whatever needed to be done. The seal on the bottom of my garage door was also tore up so I asked him if he could replace that and he told me yes. I would have actually gave them a 5 star rating but the price he gave me to replace the seal was really high in my opinion. I was charged $8 a foot to replace the rubber seal. I'm sure the Service Tech uses the companies pricing but I thought this was extremely high. The Service Tech performed the work in a timely manner and I was please with all he did with the exception of the price for the seal which I know wasn't his fault. I would use them again if needed.

We came home one day and our garage door wouldn't open. One of the cables had broken. I Googled "Garage door repair in Chattanooga" and Precision was the first on the list. After seeing the professionalism of the website, and reading reviews, I called them. They had a tech at my house THAT EVENING. The tech, Ben, explained what had happened and had our door fixed within about an hour. I definitely recommend Precision!

Chuck... my experience has not been good. As an example, the salesman said the door colors were standard and would match... they did not match, so I would not let the installer continue. The salesman also sold me a lot of stuff I did not need. I emphasized to the salesman that the doors were next to each other and had to be the same color. I would give you an F (1 star) except for the fact that the installer is working with us to fix the problems. I did not let him install the new door... I want this worked out first. The installer was exceptional and honest.

I contacted Precision for a garage door repair. When I called there was no mention of a $65 service charge. When the technician informed us of this my husband called the call center and was put on hold for 15 minutes before a woman she back on and rudely told him that they do not routinely disclose their is a service fee but if we had asked then we would have been told. Needless to say, we paid the technician his $65 and will never do any business with Precision. Highly do not recommend.

Harold and I have used Precision Doors twice for garage door repairs. We feel that the service is always outstanding. The technicians were fair, honest, and willing to go beyond what is expected. The technicians who serviced our doors were very knowledge and eager to fix the problem as well as help us figure out other problems that might be going on with our garage doors.
