Great job on the install. Quite expensive though. Installer said he would install our existing "eyes" beside the other door but didn't have the brackets (the previous owner had just put them on top of the opener so it would work). I wish he could get the brackets and come back and do it for us. Then all would be complete. For $449.00 for one garage door opener, I would think that's enough money to cover that little job as well. He was going to try to but suddenly remembered he didn't have any extra brackets. We would love to see someone come back and do that for us.

Got several calls right away, although no one seemed to relay the information that I would not be home until later afternoon. Two different people called two different times to set up earlier appointments. I found that quite disruptive.

I had a broken spring on my garage door and called Precision to replace the spring since my daughter had used them before and she was pleased with the service. The service Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He told me he would replace the spring but also pointed out some other things that may need service. Since my garage door is 15 years old I told him to do whatever needed to be done. The seal on the bottom of my garage door was also tore up so I asked him if he could replace that and he told me yes. I would have actually gave them a 5 star rating but the price he gave me to replace the seal was really high in my opinion. I was charged $8 a foot to replace the rubber seal. I'm sure the Service Tech uses the companies pricing but I thought this was extremely high. The Service Tech performed the work in a timely manner and I was please with all he did with the exception of the price for the seal which I know wasn't his fault. I would use them again if needed.

Harold and I have used Precision Doors twice for garage door repairs. We feel that the service is always outstanding. The technicians were fair, honest, and willing to go beyond what is expected. Joe was my technician and he was great. He was professional and conscientious. My door was really jacked up and Joe had it ready to go in no time. The rollers that they use really are better than what my door came with and you could really tell the difference with how easily the door opened by hand. It took little effort. One great thing about these guys is they are the only company that works on Saturday in Chattanooga. Huge plus! Very impressed with them based on my experience! I purchased new rollers, springs, cables and weather stripping in addition to the repair.

I had Joe and he was excellent and was very thorough for the simplicity of what needed to be done. The initial problem was my garage remote wouldn't work and had tried multiple remotes which didn't work. He also checked the door and rollers and even showed me a couple of things with the garage that I didn't know about.

Excellent service. Joe was outstanding. He explained clearly what needed to be done, and showed me how it would keep my problems from continuing with the door and opener. He was absolutely correct. So glad he was the person who came to my home. The complete overhaul was needed. He understood my home warranty, what they covered and what I would pay for. He was correct even on that. The new track, rollers, seal, springs and other parts made a huge difference. My door is very quiet and smooth as silk. Wow! What a difference!

Our garage door spring broke on Thanksgiving night. I called around 10:45 A.M. on Friday and was informed that someone would arrive between 3:00-5:00. I received a call from Joe, a technician, and was told he would be here at 4:00 and he was. Joe was very friendly and knowledgable. He completed the job and took care of our broken spring problem.

I give Precision Door a 5 Star Rating. Joe arrived on time on Saturday morning. He was cheerful and after examining the door mechanism explained the problems - broken spring, frayed cable, worn pulleys, worn roller bearings and poorly supported pully brackets. The door was heavy (single door / 2 car garage) and when he was not pleased with the balance using the same size original springs he had installed, he installed two heavier springs. He also adjusted the safety light showing me how to adjust it in the future if the door again would not close when activated by the remote. When Joe left, the door worked perfect and I felt as if I had made a new friend. I could not be more satisfied with the service. ~ Arthur Turner - Chattanooga, TN
