I am always hesitant and reluctant to have contractors doing work on our home. I guess because we have had problems in the past with different companies, but Jerry and Joe were great. They called when they said they would, they came when they said they would come, and they were professional. We have not had any problems with the door and my husband and I both agree that the door has made a big difference in the temperature in the garage. The next thing is to purchase a new garage door opener. The only suggestion I have is that the clean up should include picking up nuts and bolts from the old door that have fallen to the ground. We picked up several which could have caused problems with our tires when pulling in or out of the garage. I'm not trying to be picky because the service was good and I was very impressed with the technicians and the installation of the new door.

The whole project involved adding an exterior wall, framing in a door, and putting up a 2-car garage door. The technicians were incredibly professional and speedy, and their finished product was amazing. I would recommend them to anyone!

Ok I have to add to my review, because I got in too big of a hurry, and it is very important that I add this... After the repair was done I didn't realize how noisy our garage door was before but it is sooooo nice and quite and sooo smooth now!!!!! I looked on the Internet for garage doors Precision was the first one that came up and what caught my eye was it was professionally advertised and the 24/7. Although We ended up waiting till the next day to have them come out I was thinking I was going to have to have them come out the night it happened. Jerry was very professional, and great at meeting our needs!!! We have a 2 car garage but one door and for the size it is, it really needed more struts and springs than just the 1 strut and 1 spring. Also added some rollers since ours probably would be going out soon! Hopefully we won't be needing them anytime soon but if we do we definitely will be calling him back!! My garage door stopped working twice in about 3 years, so a call to Precision Door of Chattanooga sent Jerry out to help. He explained the age (about 20) and shakiness of my old opener, and I decided to take his advice and get a new one. The reviews I read beforehand were very positive about working w/ Precision Garage Door and I had the same positive experience when I had them out to fix my door (spring, rollers, electric eye, new opener). It took Joe above 5 hrs. to do all the work, leaving after 9 p.m. I needed to have him come back to make a minor adjustment as 1/2 in. gap between door and opening and that was done quickly and to my satisfaction. In addition, when I contacted them initially by email, I got 3 people who returned my call right away. To me that showed they were very prompt and responsive. I'd definitely recommend them.

Below is the honest review I have typed up for yelp, Angie's List, google review, etc. Professional but be prepared for sticker shock!! "My first impression of the company is that they are very professional. They showed up at the appointed time, the technician even phoned prior to showing up. They emailed a picture of the technician prior to arrival. They lived up to their same day service. However, be prepared to spend a LOT of money. The technician was not allowed to fix my door (company policy regarding releasing the tension on the springs) but had to either replace several very expensive parts or I had to buy a new door, which would not be installed for about a week. My other option was to have a broken garage door and have paid $65 for a useless quote. So, $598 and less than 2 hours later my 12 year old door was operating the way it did earlier that same day. Granted I had new rollers, springs, etc. But $598??? The technician was courteous and efficient as he quickly replaced all the parts. Could my door just have been repaired without spending the money on the parts? YES. I think the company has a professional appearance but you might not have many choices other than throwing expensive parts at the situation. If you need repair call someone that repairs, if you want same day service and to rebuild your door with expensive parts, call them." Regards, Spencer Morgan

We pride ourselves with same day service, nights and/or weekends, the highest quality parts, honest and trustworthy employees, and the best warranties in the industry. In return our fees are a little higher then some of our competitor prices for similar "non-installed" internet parts. I noticed we were at your home within 1.5 hours of you calling when your door is hanging dangerously with only a few rollers and the motor holding it up in your garage. Within 3 hours we had your door up and running better then it ever has with a 5 year warranty. We put safety first so when our technicians are in a dangerous situation replacing damaged parts my be required. We appreciate your business and we are sorry that you were not completely satisfied.

My repair request was on the weekend because our car was trapped in the garage on Mother's Day by a malfunctioning spring system. Sears could only schedule me 4 days later, another company never called back. Precision answered on a weekend, the technician arrived, explained the problem, released the spring and offered to do additional work to solve the problem (which I declined on a weekend). Five stars!

The man that fixed our garage was named Joe. He was very nice, prompt professional and kept us informed about when he would arrive, what was required and what he was doing to address it. He was very conscientious, cared about our property, etc. He just quietly did his job and seemed to enjoy being able to fix our busted springs and other things. Joe came to see me the sameday I called for help. He was trying to stop a leak from rain while the door was closed. He didn't have a repair part so he tried to glue a rubber strip to the floor. It looked good and seemed it would do the trick. Unfortunately it didn't. Joe came back days later when I called again and brought JB with him. They found why the door was leaking and couldn't resolve a way to fix it. I have since figured it out (I think), If they could come back maybe there is something we can do. On Thanksgiving Day my garage door wouldn't close. The following day I called 2 other places I found on the internet before I called Precision and either no one answered the phone, or I was switched around too much and got frustrated. The technician was very nice. But what I appreciate most is that within 2 hours of me placing the call to Precision the technician was at my home and my door was repaired. I am extremely grateful for the customer service and the quick response. I will use Precision again in the future.
