We found your company in the Chattanooga Yellow Pages. Joe Thomason persuaded us to upgrade the garage door opener mechanism, when he came to repair our slow, cranky door. He installed a second cable and reel, plus a second spring (one each side), a keypad outside, and new remotes. The door itself is still the same one installed when the house was built.

For customer service, promptness, knowledge and politeness of Ben, the outstanding Tech, I give 5 stars. BUT for having no warranty on the preformed work/parts UNLESS you purchase a "limited lifetime warranty" for almost the same cost as the repair is a ZERO and bordering on a scam. Would I use them again? Most likely yes, but I would also shop around first.

Jerry is prompt and professional. He replaced a set of bad safety eyes. Before he left the new set malfunctioned so he wired in another set. This pair is working good. Just hope this problem with sensors isn't a common one as there is no warranty with them.

My problem was so extensive that I decided to purchase a new door. I had been considering this for some time and decided this was the time to replace my huge, ancient, heavy wood door. I was pleased with the work Jerry did installing new rollers on my garage door. New rollers were installed on the other door in January. In January you installed two openers but neither one opened the door all the way. Much to my delight, Jerry fixed one but didn't have time to fix the other one. He said that he or someone will come back to fix the other door so that it would open all the way. I hope so.

Jerry called before he arrived. He was on time & very friendly.He said that the door needed overhauled. He installed a new opener to replace the defective one & overhauled the door with the new type springs & nylon rollers, now the door is very quiet. This is a 18' wood door & very heavy. Can now be raised with one hand if need be. I would do business with Precision again.
