I called and got same day service with an appointment between 6 and 8 PM. Joe arrived on time, was very knowledgable and professional. He fixed the door very quickly and left the area exactly as it was when he came. I very rarely every give anyone 5 stars but it is well deserved.

When our garage door would not close on Friday night, we feared the worst, that is, no service until Tuesday following Labor Day. Searching the web, I was attracted by the 24/7 phone service & open until 9;00 pm. I called & was happy to have a service date set for Saturday morning. The repairman arrived on time, diagnosed the problem & installed a new door opener in 2 hours. We are very happy with the service and our smooth-operating garage door. I called on Saturday morning for an appointment to fix my door opener. Joe from Precision Door was at my house and had it fixed by 6:00 pm same day. Had been having problems with doors opening and closing -- sometimes would work and other times wouldn't. Joe checked everything and made his recommendation: either order a new circuit board or replace and update. After showing pricing, it was a slam dunk. Joe installed a new opener with key pad and new remotes. Everything is now updated with a lifetime warranty. He explained everything and how it worked in detail. He was so cordial and didn't try to push anything. If we have problems with our door again, Precision Door will get the first call. Couldn't have been happier with the service and outcome. I went to the first ad in the yellow pages after calling a former company who couldn't get to me for another week. I was able to get same day service with Precision. The tech that came was purposeful in checking out the whole door. The spring had broken, which is what I called in for, but the tech did a complete inspection of all moving components of the door. The door is 20+ years old. He was able to show the worn parts and the need for an overhaul. I was given options of a bandaid fix or a thorough repair that would give me a much better result, plus a lifetime guarantee. All of this can be expensive but I knew I had already had multiple repairs over the last 10 years that were apparently bandaids, and were expensive in and of themselves. I appreciated the techs desire to do a great job and not simply put that bandaid on it as the other company had done. I didn't feel the tech was necessarily trying to "sell" anything, even though he did get the sell. He showed me the reasons and need for hardware replacement.
